The Winter Solstice is a rebirthing.
From darkness comes light. From stories shared around inner fires comes illumination. The stories in this small volume came through Harry MacCormack’s listening long ago.
They have been spoken among late Autumn/pre-Winter gatherings for many, many, moons.
Harry relearned indigenous storytelling ways with his teachers, Raymound White Feathers, Hyemeyhosts Storm, and Iko-ak-nale-ata (Ida Mock).
As a poet, playwright-screenwriter, metaphysician, and Organic farmer he has published several books, written hundreds of articles, and spoken to many audiences.
He has directed many ceremonies celebrating the seasonal changes we experience with our beloved Earthly Mother.
Harry resides on his farm in Corvallis, Oregon where he continues receiving and teaching.
