For over 20 years Harry has been using leaves delivered by Republic during leaf drop time to create Cosmic Compost and Leaf Mulch. Cosmic is a reference to Bio Dynamic understandings promoted historically by Rudolf Steiner in his lecture/writings. He reminded that every plant seeks to be a tree, and the leaves of trees receive and hold all the energies associated with earth, the stars, and planets. That energy is then seasonally available as leaves drop and interact with microbiology, worms, moisture, etc.

 An analysis of this compost from 0” – 16”, and from 17” – 24” including all the minerals is available on request. A biological analysis done by Soil Food Web shows balances of Bacteria, Fungi, and other microorganisms necessary for healthy soil-crop cycling. Finished  compost from leaves is made in a process that takes from 1 1/2 – 2 years. The final product is known bio-dynamically as Garden Gold.
