The essays constitute metaphysical contributions to the fundamental nature of human knowledge as it underlays our conceptions or reality, existence, and perceived patterns within life processes. Over more than fifty years some parts of these philosophical explorations were published in ordinary – as opposed to academic – periodicals: The most well-known of these publications were New Left Notes and ACRES USA. Other publications were in a genre known as Community Papers, reflections of alternatives to mainstream, accepted rhetoric. The majority of these papers lasted only a few years, one of which I helped run during my time in Owa City, Iowa, called MIDDLE EARTH. All catered to people transitioning thought and behavior away from petro-chemical industrial actions that included ongoing wars against people in the way of resources, toward decision making that would have humans more aligned with natural processes.
